In a heroic effort, our basement is finished. (Heroic – because my pregnant wife did most of the work and Lori did the finishing touches while being 8 months pregnant. Finished – being 99.9%. It is livable with all the rooms except the bathroom and lab being completed with carped etc.)
It is a wonderful relief. It is a great addition to our home. It is great to be able to go downstairs and have all the usable space available to us.
I love our home. I love it even more now that we have doubled the livable space.
Lori really did some great work. Luckily for me she is a perfectionist. She works hard and makes things look good. She will not settle for sloppy work. I appreciate that about her. She is also not afraid to get in there and get something done.
It has truly been a blessing.
